Alice & Jamie | Dean's Place Hotel | Alfriston, East Sussex

My day began with Alice, her sister and her hairdresser, Chloe, in a beautiful upstairs bedroom at Dean's Place. It was such a lovely atmosphere, so relaxed and yet with so much anticipation for the day ahead, and I quickly got on with shooting the preparation shots and some details of the dresses and flowers before the two little bridesmaids joined us. Meanwhile, Jamie had arrived and I popped down to meet him and his Best Man for a couple of shots before the gorgeous Bride and her Bridesmaids were ready to come down for the gorgeous outdoor ceremony.

The ceremony was beautiful, the perfect temperature outside, and they happily made their way down the aisle as the confetti was thrown before all of their guests enjoyed the drinks reception on the lawns. Alfriston is a stunnning place and after some group shots, Alice, Jamie and I wandered into a nearby field to capture a few shots before heading back to the hotel for their Wedding Breakfast.

The speeches were fantastic (including one from the Bride herself!) and before long everyone had gathered for the Pub Quiz! Such a brilliant idea to fill the 'lull' between the meal and dancing, thoroughly enjoyed by all (and I even got a few right).

The dancing began and the evening was well underway as I left this very happy couple to it. Many congratulations Alice and Jamie, I wish you all the very best for the future. I'm looking forward to my next wedding at Dean's Place in July x
