Kirstie & Tim | Pelham House
22nd February 2017
In: Weddings

It's quite rare to get the opportunity to shoot at a venue that's literally within walking distance from my house! But very handily for me, this was one of those times because Kirstie and Tim had chosen the beautiful Pelham House in Lewes for their wedding day.
My day began with Kirstie's preparations, which was lovely and chilled out; her dress was wafting in the breeze coming through the open window (which Kirstie was peering through to spy on the arriving guests!) and I had plenty of time to capture all the little details like Kirstie's bouquet, jewellery and shoes.
It was touch and go with the weather, so an indoor ceremony was decided upon last minute - which turned out absolutely brilliantly. They had chosen a fantastic guitarist (Duncan Howlett) who set the mood in the gorgeous Terrace Room, which looks out onto the garden, and the happy couple tied the knot amongst their friends and family in what was a lovely ceremony.
The weather did brighten up and the newlyweds and guests spilled out onto the gorgeous lawns at Pelham House, ready for their drinks and a few group shots. Kirstie and Tim were fabulous models for their couple shots, and it didn't seem long before we were whisked inside so they could enjoy their wedding breakfast.
Another gorgeous wedding for another absolutely wonderful couple - a day full of laughter. I'm a lucky girl! Congratulations Kirstie and Tim x
