Leanne & Tom | The Ashes, Staffordshire

Leanne and Tom were married at the stunning Ashes Barns in Staffordshire on what started as quite a drizzly April day - but that wasn't dampening any spirits!

I started my day just down the road from The Ashes, to meet Tom and his Groomsmen for a few shots, before whizzing down the road to meet Leanne and the girls, who were getting ready in The Ashes' very own Bridal Preparation Suite. It's the perfect little place to get ready, rooms filled with mirrors, stools, hooks, benches - perfect for hair, make up and dressing! After a while we started to spy guests arriving and it wasn't long before the beautiful Bride made her way across the courtyard to go and say "I do".

After the Ceremony, the happy couple and guests spilled outside...and then back inside thanks to the April showers! But the rain did eventually let off and we managed to get the group shots and couple shots done outside around the pretty gardens and grounds, with some lovely sunshine to boot.

The speeches were how all the best wedding speeches should be - emotional as well as hilarious! And then after the cutting of their 'cheese' cake and their adorable First Dance, I captured some of the evening before leaving everyone to dance the night away.

A wonderful wedding at a gorgeous venue - for a stunning and absolutely lovely couple. Many congratulations to you two! x
